Is The Green Living Expo LI held indoors or outdoors?
The event will be held indoors at the brand-new Health, Sports &
Education Center on the Brentwood Campus of Suffolk Community College.

What
is the cost to attend?
Tickets are $10 + tax. Kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be
purchased online in advance of the show or at the box office on
event day (cash only).

How
do I get to Suffolk County Community College?
Suffolk Community College, Brentwood Campus, Health, Sports &
Education Center is located at: 101 Crooked Hill Road, Brentwood,

From the east or west take the Long Island Expressway to Exit
53. Follow signs to Wicks Road.

Go south 1⁄2 mile on Wicks Road to campus entrance on right-hand
side.

Follow signs to Health, Sports & Education Center.
Is
there on-site parking? Is there a fee?
Parking is available right on the college campus at no charge. Please
do not park in spots reserved for faculty, staff, or spots reserved
for handicapped visitors.
Are
food and refreshments available?
Yes, there are concessions managed by the college’s caterer
that will sell snacks and beverages to attendees and exhibitors.
Does the facility have wheelchair access?
Yes. Please note that the exhibition hall does not have wheelchairs
available for public use.
Is the Expo appropriate for children?
Nothing would make us happier than to help inform and educate our
future leaders. While most of the day is geared toward an adult
audience, there are special kid-friendly activities.
Can
I bring a stroller?
Yes, strollers are welcome in all areas of the show floor.
Is smoking permitted at the event?
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the convention center. You
are welcome to step outside to smoke, but please be considerate
of others when you do.
Are
pets permitted at the event?
For their own safety and to be compliant with campus rules, please
leave your pets at home. Pets are not permitted at the event.
Is
it permissible to take photographs at the event?
Yes. Please be mindful not to distract presenters and ask permission
first.
What
is the Seminar schedule?
The Green Living Expo LI will we have a full line-up of seminars/talks/lectures
led by community leaders know for their commitment to “green
living”. Schedules will be posted prior to the event. Click
here for the current listings. Check back frequently for updates.
Who will be speaking at the seminars?
Seminar speakers are selected from those businesses that participate
in The Green Living Expo. Each seminar speaker is selected based
on the content of their presentation and the timeliness of the topic.
Is there a coat check?
No, there is no coat check available. Please plan accordingly.
Is there an ATM in the EXPO hall?
Yes. There is an ATM on the campus.
Is there a Senior Citizen Discout?
Yes. Seniors save $2 off the regular $10 admission charge.
